Motion and Stillness
As we age, past rules and emotional experiences create limitations in our movement. Yet it is important for the body to move and be expressive. Sometimes even very small movements help us shift beyond limitations. Practices like yoga, tai chi, Feldenkrais™, and dance can be helpful in regaining motion.
At the same time, our minds can be in constant motion and have difficulty being quiet. We offer gatherings and sessions that help with both motion and stillness, again increasing choices and possibilities.
